Absolutely! You should definitely mention your involvement in case competitions, regardless of how well you did. It shows that you are active in your school community and understand the importance of getting out and meeting other students (from your own as well as other schools).

I would probably put this under Education, however, you can experiment with where you would like to put it. As long as you mention it somewhere, it will be of benefit.

Hello again

At my university i have started a program where for a certain fee i prepare a detailed workout plan and dieting plan for students interested in joining a healthy life style. Would it be appropriate to put something like this on my resume.i been doing this for over a year now and have increased my client base alot but never found the appropriate way to put it on the resume. Any suggestions

Absolutely.... this is a great thing to put on your resume... it displays great entrepreneurial initiative, and building a business like this shows requires the "soft skills" that firms are looking for when interacting with clients/co-workers

In terms of incorporating this into your resume, it is probably best to put this under work experience. Just be sure, that, when describing your experience, you really emphasize the human-to-human interaction involved (i.e. reaching out to potential customers, inquiring about customer's dietary & work-out needs, soliciting feedback from them, etc.)
